Light travels in waves and particles.
Personaware is mostly focused on the wave properties of light, and its frequency.
There are 7 colors in the rainbow… Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet
Each color has an associated frequency range called a wavelength, measured in nanometers.
- Red 740-625 nm
- Orange 625-490 nm
- Yellow 590-565 nm
- Green 565-520 nm
- Blue 520-500 nm
- Indigo 500-430 nm
- Violet 430-380 nm
The nanometer is a unit of length in the metric system, equal to one billionth of a meter.
The word “wavelength” is defined by two separate definitions, which I think are revealing.
In PHYSICS
- the distance between successive crests of a wave, especially points in a sound wave or electromagnetic wave. "a range of wavelengths"
In LIFE
- a person's ideas and way of thinking, especially as it affects their ability to communicate with others.
The first definition is related to the physical properties of light-energy and looks like the image shown at the top of this post. The second definition lends itself to the operational concepts of Personaware. These definitions juxtaposed to each other are a subtle indicator that
light and color are key to communication between people.
